[메디게이트뉴스] 의학교육의 질을 높이려면 통합이 필요하다. 각 의대 교수 수를 보면 많은 대학은 1000명이 넘고 가장 적은 대학은 150여명 정도로 대학마다 차이가 크다. 대학별 학생 수의 차이는 그리 크지 않은데 교수 수의 차이가 이리 크다는 것은 교육의 질의 편차가 크다는 뜻이다. 참고로 미국의대 교수 수를 보면 하버드의대 1만명 이상, 다른 의대들은 2000~5000명이다. 우리나라 40개 의대 교수 수를 모두 합한 숫자가 하버드의대 한개의 교수 수와 비슷하다. 공공의대, 지역의대를 빙자해서 지역주민들을 호도하며 희망고문을 시키며 표를 구걸하는 지역구 국회의원들이 지난 수십년간 마구 남발하는 의대신설 법안을 막아야 한다. 의대를 신설하겠다고 하면서 이런 의원들이 신설 의대의 정원을 어찌 가져올지에 대해서도 아무 아이디어가 없다. 그리고 공공의대가 의대와 어찌 다른가? 우리나라에서 공공의료가 뭔지에 대한 개념도 의심스럽다. 국민들이 속지 말아야 한다. 이런 허황되면서도 어차피 2024.11.25

의대정원 증원 2000명 대란은 총액계약제 대란의 전초전이다
